1. Information We Collect

We believe in data minimization. We only collect information that is necessary to provide our Service.

• Account Data: email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers.
• Swing Content: the videos you upload and the analysis artifacts derived from them (annotated video, metrics, scores) and the coaching chat messages you send.
• Billing Data: subscription and entitlement status from Stripe or Apple. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage and Product Event Data: first-party events such as opening a sample report, viewing an analysis, starting a comparison or reaching a usage limit. On the web, these events include a random browser identifier stored in local storage; when you are signed in, they are also linked to your account. Event records include timestamps and limited technical or feature properties, but not swing videos, coaching messages, email addresses or names. We use this pseudonymous data to understand the product funnel, maintain reliability and improve the Service.
• No Cross-Company Tracking:our mobile apps contain no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and we do not use these product events to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

2. How We Use Information

To run the analysis pipeline, generate coaching responses (your swing metrics and chat messages are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic), bill subscriptions, prevent abuse, measure activation and feature usage, and improve the Service. We do not use your videos to train AI models.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. On the free plan, raw swing videos are automatically deleted 30 days after upload (metrics are retained so trends keep working). On Pro, videos are kept until you delete them.

Account-linked product events are removed when the associated account is deleted. Product events are retained for up to 13 months. The random browser identifier stored on your device persists until you clear this site's browser data, which resets it.

Request Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. Use Settings → Delete account (immediate), or contact us at info@strikebetter.com. We will process email requests within 30 days.

4. Storage & Security

Videos and reports live in private, access-controlled storage; links to them are time-limited signed URLs. Reports are private by default — a report is public only while you have sharing enabled.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: vendors who need access to carry out work on our behalf — Supabase (database, storage, authentication), Vercel (hosting), Modal (video processing), Anthropic (AI coaching), Stripe (web payments), and Apple (App Store payments).
• Legal Requirements: we may disclose information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@strikebetter.com.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy.
